Got a better source?

[edit]

The source used as evidence of the claim that Sholes intended to slow operators down is an apocryphal story is a hastily slapped together term paper. Do we have something real? 2601:281:CB00:B610:4861:1825:F155:F08E (talk) 18:29, 15 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Philippine keyboard

[edit]

In the Philippines, toward the end of the twentieth century around the early eighties, some typewriters had a key for the Spanish "ñ" and another one for the Philippine peso currency symbol.
